Parents' Right to Know

The Parents’ Right to Know Act (Act 2024-35) requires Covington County Schools to ensure that current adopted curricula for each class is available on the website of the school. Covington County Schools strives to carefully align all academic and curricular decisions with the Alabama State Department of Education’s Courses of Study, the Alabama Comprehensive Assessment Program (ACAP), and the American College Test (ACT).

In addition to the below list, individual schools and educators retain the discretion to add to these resources to facilitate mastery of specific educational standards. For further information regarding supplemental resources available in your student’s classroom, you may contact your student’s classroom teacher and/or school principal.
